The community is invited to a special fundraising event at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, Art for S.P.A.R.C. (Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center), located at 705 E. Santa Barbara Street.
Enjoy music, wine and appetizers, and the opportunity to go home with a special piece of art.
This is not art gone TO the dogs – it is art FOR the dogs… and the cats! With your “Art for SPARC” ticket you can support Santa Paula’s new no-kill animal shelter and receive a wonderful piece of original art at the same time!
Art for SPARC tickets are priced on a graduated scale to determine who gets first choice, second choice and so on of art from participating artists, who include Carolyn Barone, Roe Estep, Phyllis Gubins, Ginny Gutierrez, Dan Harding, Sue Harding, Silvia Huerta, Kat King, Jen Livia, Edward Matisoff, John Nichols, Susan Petty, Lorelle Brina Patterson, Gail Pidduck, Rene Ruston, Janice Susha, and Talia Wunder, with more artists to be included.
The ticket for first choice of art is $500, with the second choice ticket at $400 and third choice at $300. Tickets for choices 4 through 15 are $200 apiece; 16 through 25 are $150 each; and 26 through 100 are $100 each. Entry to the event only, with no art selection included, is $15 at the door, and all proceeds benefit the shelter.
