There are a number of folks in Santa Paula who have been concerned for decades about the dismal local economy caused by lack of job opportunities and diversity and the amount of disposable income spent out of town. No one minded because we are geared to profit, cost of living increases and healthy inflation. But now, the garage has to be bigger or granite has to be in place of the old Formica tops.
