Cardinal Baseball wins one drops one to Villanova

Santa Paula Cardinal Baseball lost 2-1 to Villanova last Wednesday. Steven Kohr was the starting pitcher and went the distance but took the loss. Kohr gave up 4 hits and had 6 strikeouts. Top hitters for the Cardinals were Justin Macias 1-2, Eddie Perez 1-2 and 1 run scored and Justin Barron with the only run batted in for Cardinals. The Cardinals take on Fillmore today.
Santa Paula Cardinal Baseball won 7-0 against Villanova last Friday. Justin Barron pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only four hits and striking out four. Gabriel Diaz had two hits with a run and an RBI. Eddie Perez had two hits and scored a run. Justin Macias doubled, scored two runs and had an RBI.
