Soroptimist of Santa Paula seeks applicants for Women’s Opportunity Award

Each year Soroptimist International of Santa Paula awards a very deserving woman the Women’s Opportunity Award.
The Women’s Opportunity Awards program is Soroptimist’s major women’s education project. Through the program, clubs in 19 countries and territories assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.
Last year’s recipient was Amber Espinosa, who is employed at Vista Cove Care Center at Santa Paula as a Certified Nurses Aide. Amber is a single mother of two that returned to school to pursue her Licensed Vocational Nursing License.
