Santa Paula runners compete in marathon

Three Santa Paula men took part in the recent Santa Clarita Marathon. Pictured above are: (l-r) Francisco Ramirez, John Dittmeier and Jose Velazquez. They all trained together in advance of the marathon and finished together at 5:19.09.

The Santa Clarita Marathon, which is an official qualifying race for the Boston Marathon, took place in early November. The day included a full marathon, a half marathon, a 5K Run and a Kid K run.
