A team of ten area business leaders have been appointed to oversee the Southern Hub of Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast.

A team of ten area business leaders have been appointed to oversee the Southern Hub of Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast. GSCCC, the former Tres Condados Girl Scout Council, provides the Girl Scout Leadership Development Program for approximately 12,000 girls in the counties of Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, San Benito, Monterey and Santa Cruz. The Southern Hub covers all of Ventura County.Regional Board Members are volunteers who will help guide this region of the council and increase the presence of Girl Scouts in the communities served by the Southern Hub.Regional Boards are currently being established in the Central (Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties) and Northern (San Benito, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties) Hubs as well. There is also an overall council Board of Directors.At their meeting in January, Southern Regional Board members stood and took the Girl Scout oath before getting to work outlining the plan for the coming year.
