FOOD Share, Inc., Ventura County’s Regional Food Bank, is having its Annual food & fund drive to raise a desperately needed 175,000 pounds of nutritious food & funds to feed the hungry in our communities.
FOOD Share, Inc., Ventura County’s Regional Food Bank, is having its Annual food & fund drive to raise a desperately needed 175,000 pounds of nutritious food & funds to feed the hungry in our communities. This event is just around the corner! Join with us to collect the necessary food and funds to ensure no person goes to bed hungry in Ventura County. Our partners this year are~ Honorary Chair John Flynn, Supervisor Ventura County Board of Supervisors and“Everyone can help by signing up their school, joining as a business partner, organize a neighborhood food & fund drive or by simply filling the grocery bag provided as an insert in the Ventura County Star (twice during the food & fund drive) on November 14th through December 12th. Then bring it to your local VONS to drop it in the yellow food drive barrel or POD container provided for your convenience,” said Sandy Bishop President and CEO of FOOD Share.We need nutritious food to feed the hungry; working poor families, senior citizens, children in after school programs, veterans, homeless and those at risk of experiencing food insecurity.
