Cardinal boys drop a pair of games to St. Bonnie

The Cardinal varsity boys had a tough time against St. Bonaventure on the baseball field last week. The Seraphs took the first game on their field 7-0. Santa Paula hosted St. Bonnie for the second game and lost 19-3.Coach Manuel Herrera said the boys are getting off to a slow start and allowing too many unearned runs.In the first match-up Aaron Gomez got the only hit for the Cardinals. In the second contest Joey Villa hit a 2-run double and Manuel Guerrero was 1 for 1 with a double and two walks.
