David Echavarria Garcia David Echavarria Garcia passed away unexpectedly in Tijuana, BC Mexico. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary E. Garcia and father Vincent N. Garcia.David was born July 25, 1962 in Santa Paula. He attended Santa Paula schools and played Little League.David served his country while in the United States Army. He received the Sharpshooter award with the M-16 rifle.He was a lifelong resident of Santa Paula. David is survived by his wife Lori, and children David, Michael, Jonathon, Angela, Raymond, Edward and Christina Garcia, all of Tijuana, BC Mexico, and Elias Castanada of Santa Paula; brothers, Ernie (wife Belen) Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ruben Rodriguez of Valencia; sisters Irene (husband Nick) Nava, Anna Cantero and Tommie Garcia-Gomez of Santa Paula, Alice (husband Jacob) Marshall of Las Vegas, and Lydia Hernandez of Edna, Texas; goddaughter Amanda Borjas; and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary, 128 S. 8th St., Santa Paula; burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. He worked as a plumber for the Ventura Unified School district for 20 years.Frank is survived by his sisters Jessie (husband Daniel) Perez of Ventura, and Bonnie Cervantez of Camarillo; brother Thomas Sotelo of Camarillo; stepfather Reno Majeno of Ventura; aunts Victoria Hernandez and Juana Garcia, both of Santa Paula; uncles Mike Hernandez, Salvador Hernandez and Benjamin Hernandez, all of Santa Paula; nephews Alexander Villa of Las Vegas and Daniel Perez, Jr. of Santa Paula; nieces Yvonne Ventura of Iowa, and Veronica and Marlena of Santa Paula; nephew Mark Perez of Oxnard; great-nieces Cassandra Ventura and Jessica Ventura; great-nephew Mark Perez, Jr.; and many, many cousins.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17 at Pierce Brothers Stetler Chapel at 2 p.m.Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary, 128 S. 8th St., Santa Paula; 525-5595.Death NoticeLizett Flores Martinez, infant, died June 21, 2004.
