A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 7 at St. Sebastian Church in Santa Paula. He was a resident of Ventura County for 13 years, working as a trucker for Gonzales Cilantro Farms, where all of his brothers also work.Ismael enjoyed the sport of boxing. He had a great sense of humor, and loved his family very much. His favorite foods included chilaquiles and tamales with lots of chili.He is survived by his father, Gregorio H. Piceno; mother, Rebecca Hernandez; brothers, Jose Juan Piceno and Jesus Piceno; sisters, Rosario Piceno, Leticia Piceno, Maria Teresa Piceno and Blanca Herminia Piceno; and paternal grandparents, Jose Juan Piceno and Rafaela Piceno.The family gives thanks for the generosity of Ismael’s boss and the owner of Gonzales Cilantro Farms, Francisco Gonzales Flores, who took care of all funeral arrangements, transportation and burial expenses.Visitation and rosary were held at Pierce Brothers Stetler Chapel. Cecilio Quintero Carmona, age 51, of Santa Paula, passed away on January 1, 2000. He was born on November 22, 1948 in Mexico to the union of Jose Carmona and Basilia Quintero.Cecilio is survived by his father, Jose Carmona of Santa Paula; two sisters, Loreto Carmona and Luz Carmona, both of Santa Paula; one niece and her husband, Olivia and Eduardo Ortega and their daughter Jocelyne Valencia of Santa Paula; and two nephews, Sergio Ortega and Juan Ortega, both of Santa Paula.Holy mass was held on January 6 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Paula, with interment following at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.Funeral arrangements under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, Oxnard.Vercie L. MashburnVercie L. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.Margery was preceded in death by her brother, John, and her grandmother Arline McKenna. She is survived by her father and mother, John and June Naborowski; her brother Mark Gunter of Santa Paula; sisters, Susan Cooper of Ventura, Julie Naborowski of Tacoma, Washington, and Allison Simon and Kathleen Howard, both of Santa Paula; nephews and nieces, John and Eric Naborowski, Ken and Stacy Cooper, Tanya and Jessica Gunter, and Adam, Amy and Joshua Simon; and two great-nephews and a great-niece. She is also survived by her beloved fiancé, Norman Dion.
