Jessie Puga now Miss American Starlet

Almost two-year old Jessie Puga (shown wearing her crown and displaying her trophies) has been making a name for herself. Her parents Guadalupe and Abigail Puga entered her in the Miss American Starlet Pageant that was held at the Radisson Hotel in Oxnard, January 27th, and she came away as the Regional Winner for 2002. Her Miss American Starlet win places her into the National Pageant to be held in Palm Springs in August. Should Jessie win in Palm Springs, she would win a $2000 scholarship. Photo by Don Johnson
