Little league sign-ups wrapup January 18

Enrollment for Santa Paula Little League is being held each Saturday through January 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the little league field. Opening day will be either March 14 in the evening or March 15 during the day. Tryouts are set for early February. The enrollment fee is $45. After January 18 it goes up to $50. There are discounts for siblings. You need to bring a photocopy of your childs birth certificate and a local utility bill to prove residency. Players should be present to try on jerseys for sizing.The sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 60 openings guaranteed for 7-8 year olds; 72 openings for 9-10 year olds; 72 for 11-12 year olds and 60 for the first 13-14 year olds who sign up. A player must turn seven by July 31, 2003 to be eligible.All volunteers must bring a photocopy of their drivers license and submit an application form.
