    Lady Cardinals open season with wins

    Both the JV and Varsity Lady Cards won over Hueneme this week on the soccer field. The JV took their second season game 2-1.Scoring for Santa Paula wereAntonia Barrios and Victoria Castillo.The varsity won their contest 4-2.Scoring for the varsity were Sylvia Puga and Maria Prado, who scored her first hat trick of the season with three goals.
    The girls are scheduled to travel to Golden Valley High School Tuesday. Their next home games will be next Thursday against Fillmore.
