Dia De Los Muertos celebrated at Glen City School

Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) was celebrated Monday at Glen City School. This is a holiday in Mexico where people celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed away. People celebrate in their homes and in graveyards, creating altars to honor loved ones, cleaning and decorating graves, storytelling and playing music. Glen City marked the day with Aztec dancers, performing at the school. Danza Azteca Tonantzin, a Santa Paula group, danced for the students. Members of the group are: Yvett Nava, Sofi Roman, Giselle Bautista, Claudia Magallon, Joseline Ramirez, Liliyna Gil and Brenda Del Rio.
