Teen Scene recently had a wonderful collaborative event with the Santa Paula Art Museum. Blanchard Community Library’s Teen Scene celebrated Earth Day with very special guest, Michelle Glass, artist and museum educator with the Santa Paula Art Museum. Michelle spoke to teens about a current exhibit, Dos Del Sur (Two from the South), a two person exhibition featuring work by Ojai artists Carlos Grasso and Sylvia Raz. Teens were then encouraged to create their own assemblage out of a wide variety of recycled items and art materials supplied by Michelle.
