Boys’ varsity takes down Carpinteria on soccer field

The Cardinal varsity boys’ soccer team, playing a very aggressive game, beat visiting Carpinteria Monday 3-1.
The first Santa Paula goal came off the foot of Luis Magaña, assisted by Jesus Roman. Irvin Vasquez scored the second goal with the help of Gonzalo Cisneros. The third Cardinal goal came from Roman, assisted by Cisneros.
Santa Paula’s Tri Valley League record now stands at 3-1-2.
