SPPD’s own ‘Mini-Me’ patrol vehicle wins top NACOP award

Santa Paula Police’s own “Mini-Me” patrol vehicle won a top award at the recent 11th Annual National Association of Citizens On Patrol (NACOP). The vehicle was awarded the Most Unique Patrol Vehicle, according to Sergeant Jimmy Fogata, who was honored with the National Coordinator of the Year Award.
“The car,” which Fogata said got a ride of its own on a trailer to the Chino-based event, “was a big hit. People were getting inside of it to have their photo taken... they thought it was the coolest thing, people were so excited about it!”
