Bobbie was born March 19, 1943 in Huntsville, Arkansas. Her family moved to Santa Paula in 1953, where she attended school, married, and raised her four children. Bobbie was a homemaker, and in later years enjoyed working at Jaz Products in Santa Paula.Bobbie is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Gunnell; son Jeff Gunnell and his wife Nona of Sacramento; son Darren Gunnell of Santa Paula; daughter Kim Fullerton and husband Jack of Santa Paula; daughter Julie of Victorville, CA; seven grandchildren, Jessica Fullerton, 22, Samantha Fullerton, 18, Darren Gunnell II, 12, Tyler Masters, 13, Madeline Gunnell, 9, and Nicholas Gunnell, 6; and her siblings, Millie Hollmer, Sandra Rowlands, Dorothy Patterson, Eric Robbins, Walter Robbins, George Robbins and Peggy Dokken, all of the Greater Seattle, Washington area.Bobbie loved the magic of Disneyland, the spirit of Christmas, and everything family. She will be deeply missed.Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 15 at 10 a.m. at Skillin Carroll Mortuary in Santa Paula.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the City of Hope, www.cityofhope.org.

Joe Bravo
Joe Bravo, 89, a life long resident of Ventura County, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. A Santa Paula native, he was born on October 28, 1918 to Jose and Cleotilde Bravo.A 1937 graduate of Santa Paula High School, Joe served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he obtained a master’s degree in Educational Administration, commencing a long career in education.Mr. Bravo was an active member of many local clubs and organizations, including AARP, Kiwanis, and Knights of Columbus. He was a devoted Catholic.Mr. Bravo is now reunited with his parents, his brother Frank Bravo, and sisters Connie and Mercedes Bravo. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Sylvia Bravo; children, Olivia of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, Mike of San Luis Obispo, and John of Santa Paula; one grandson, Nathan; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.Visitation was scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11 at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. at St. Sebastian Church, followed by burial with Military Honors at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738 E.
