Santa Paula lost their first game to Fillmore, 1-0. Playing in the losers’ bracket, Santa Paula won four games in a row, beating Foothill, Montalvo, Dos Pueblos and Ojai. In a heart breaker, Santa Paula lost to Saticoy 1-0. Saticoy went on the next night to defeat Carpinteria for the championship.

Two of this year’s District 63 Little League All-star Tournaments were played in Santa Paula and Fillmore.
The 11-year-old teams were hosted by the Santa Paula Little League. The Santa Paula All-stars started out with a win over Montalvo and then beat Foothill in an exciting game that went into extra innings. After a five-day break, Santa Paula took a one-run win over Dos Pueblos.Dos Pueblos came back through the losers bracket to play Santa Paula for the championship. Dos Pueblos won that game 14-1, but because they won from the losers bracket they had a second game the next night. Santa Paula lost that one 11-1.The 12-year-old division was hosted by the Fillmore Little League.
