“A Christmas Carol” at McKevett School

The classic exclamation was uttered with gusto as fifth grade classes at McKevett Visual and Performing Arts Elementary performed an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” The performance was on Wednesday, December 17th. The adaptation for the play was written by Lisa Elliot, who was directing the production along with fifth grade teaching partner Jorge De La O. Fifth grade student cast members included Jason Joliff as Scrooge, Ashleigh Clendening as Marley’s Ghost, Mary Canell as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Sabrina Castaneda the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Stephanie Hardin as the Ghost of Christmas Future. Nicholas Beltran was the narrator. Ryan Summit and Sirena Castaneda played Mr. and Mrs. Cratchit, with Luis Cisneros playing the part of Tiny Tim. Photo by Don Johnson
