Thomas the Tank Engine visits Fillmore

Thomas the Tank Engine and Sir Topham Hatt greeted children at Central Park in Fillmore Thursday. The children were kindergarten students from Fillmore and Piru schools. Active military families were also given the opportunity to ride aboard Thomas yesterday. The Day Out With Thomas opens to the public this weekend and next. The 25-minute train rides will depart every 45 minutes, Friday through Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. There are other activities and games in the park as well.
