Successful completion of the examination allows students to earn college credits for their efforts. Results will be sent to the students July 1.The examinations were administered over a two-week period. With the exception of Studio Art, each examination took four hours to administer.
“I was impressed by the resolve of each student who took the examinations,” stated Joe Jauregui, director of Educational Services for the Santa Paula Union High School District. “Every student appeared well prepared and they all worked intently on their examinations. They only had a 10-minute break between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It was obvious to me they took their task seriously. The teachers did not take their responsibility lightly. They came in early each morning to give their students that last pep talk before the students tackled their respective examinations. I know the students appreciated the teachers’ efforts.”
