SPUSD Classified Employee of the Month

Trustees of the Santa Paula Unified School District have honored this month’s Classified Employee of the Month. Bucho Zamora, a custodian at McKevett Elementary School was selected for the recognition. McKevett Principal Lydia Olivos introduced Zamora to the board at last week’s meeting. She said selecting him to fill the position was one of the best decisions she has made. She called him her “Right hand Man and said he has a great relationship with staff members. “He goes above and beyond the call of duty,” she said.  She added that, “Everyone who knows him knows he doesn’t like to be in the spotlight.”  Zamora said he appreciated the opportunity to prove himself.
