JV boys split with Carpinteria

The Cardinal JV boys’ baseball squad played Carpinteria twice last week, winning the first game 3-2 and losing the second 8-7.

“We were one out away from completing the sweep of Carpinteria, but we didn’t close it out,” said Coach Ed Gomez.  “Hopefully we will take the lessons from this game and apply them to our remaining games.  We must bounce back against Malibu this week.”
