Council: Monday session scant on business except for annual budget

June 15, 2012
Santa Paula City Council

Although the agenda for Monday’s City Council meeting - the last before the panel takes a six-week hiatus - is scant, council will consider the FY 2012-2013 General Fund Budget.

The June 18 meeting will be held at City Hall, 970 E. Main St., and aired live on Time Warner Cable Channel 10 and replayed per schedule. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the city’s website http://www.ci.santa-paula.ca.us/events_archives.htm and archived for latter viewing.

According to Deputy City Clerk Peggy Higgins, the agenda was still being finalized Thursday morning. Higgins said there is no closed session agendized.

The council will consider several Consent Calendar items - those considered routine and often approved without discussion - including plans and specifications for the Harding Park Master Plan Improvement Project and amendments to the 2005 Water/Wastewater Master Plan. There are several other items listed on the Consent Calendar for the council to consider.

Items of business include appointing a voting delegate and alternate to the California League of Cities. The only other item of business is adoption of the FY 2012-2013 General Fund Budget.
