Ventura County Fair: “The Bounty of the County”

Grand Champion Steer

Robert Aguilar (photo above left), Santa Paula FFA, took home the top award with his Steer named Darth Bubba Varder. The Grand Champion Steer weighed 1,334 pound and took home $11.00 per pound at auction Friday. Parents are Fidencio and Esther Aguilar.

Reserve Grand Champion Steer

Daniella Oliva (above right), Santa Paula FFA, took home the Reserve Grand Champion Ribbon with her Steer Ollie. Ollie weighed in at 1,230 pounds. Daniella’s steer from last year won Grand Champion. This is Daniella’s second steer, and both have done well at the Fair. Parent are Salvador and Martina Oliva.
