College accepting enrollments for short term classes

Ventura College Community Education is now accepting enrollments in a wide variety of short-term classes, workshops, and seminars beginning over the next few months.


Fast track job training classes in high demand fields include:  Introduction to Veterinary Assisting, Fiber Optics Installer, Medical Coding for Beginners, Pharmacy Technician Training, Physical Therapy Aide Training, Electronic Medical Records, and Energy Auditor Training for BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certification.    

In addition, business owners will want to enroll in Social Media Marketing for Small Business, Build Your Own Business Website and Save, and Quickbooks(r) for Beginners, as well as Continuing Quickbooks(r).

Popular culinary classes include:  Beer and Food Pairing at the Crowne Plaza, Greek Cooking with Lynn Mikelatos, Gourmet Olive Oil Tasting and Food and Wine Pairing at the Sidecar.

Community Education also offers a wide assortment of more than 250 online classes to meet the needs of busy professionals, parents, and others desiring an alternative to classroom instruction.

Community Education classes are self supporting and do not confer college credits.
