Christeen G. Spears Christeen G. Spears, age 88, of Santa Paula died Saturday, September 4, 1999 following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Spears was born January 4, 1911 in Durant, Oklahoma and was a Ventura County resident for 43 years.Mrs. Spears was a homemaker for 70 years. She loved to walk around Santa Paula and had a real green thumb.She will be dearly missed by her family: Daughter & Husband, Patty and Ronald Dudley of Santa Paula; Daughter & Husband, Mary Ann and Grady Thrash of New Mexico; Son & Wife, Bobby and Delores Spears of Texas; Brother & Wife, Reg and Erna Watkins of California; Sister, Mary Bevil of Santa Paula; Nine grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 1999 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary. A gravesite service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 1999, 11:00 a.m. at Santa Paula Cemetery.
