Local organizations and families can support The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura’s programs of support, education and hope for people fighting cancer by signing up as a sponsor or advertiser for the 17th Annual Holiday Homes Tour, which will take place Dec. 6-7. Families can also help by opening their homes for the Tour. The self-guided tour of select Conejo Valley homes is the organization’s largest fundraiser.Sponsors and advertisers will benefit from visibility among the thousands of residents who attend the Tour. Several sponsor levels are available, with benefits including complimentary private tour and VIP reception tickets, signage along the tour, and company logos on posters, ads, and other collateral. The best benefit is the knowledge that your funding provides much-needed support to people with cancer and their loved ones in our community.Past Holiday Homes Tour Host Chris Ruelbach has generously opened her home for the Tour twice and will be a Volunteer House Manager this year. “My husband, Gregg, and I first offered our home to the Wellness Community Holiday Homes Tour to honor his father, Ray Reulbach. We wondered what it would be like to have thousands of people wander through our home to see our Christmas decorations and operating Lionel train sets. We found it to be a heartwarming way to usher in the Holiday season.”“We have even received thank you notes from survivors who benefited from their involvement with The Wellness Community. They wanted to thank those who helped raise funds for the invaluable programs offered by the Community. If you feel that Christmas has become too commercial, open your home to the Tour. You’ll get back much more than you give,” stated Chris.
