Flag ceremony at McKevett School

McKevett Elementary School marked Veteran’s Day Wednesday with a ceremony in front of the school. The event was started with Delores Britton’s kindergarten class leading the school in the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. An honor guard presented the flags to raised on the flagpole. The honor guard was made up of the following students: Alberto Aguilar, Yadira Cisneros, Laura Solis, Ryan Montiel, Margarita Navarro, Adrian Alvarez, Nicole Mayes, Jennifer Ramos, Alexsis Cortez, Isaac Sanchez, Erika Nava, Edgar Manriquez, Samantha Mendoza, Fernando Garcia, Andrea Rivera and Anthony Mendoza.
