Youth Peace Summit scheduled

The Youth Peace committee, in collaboration with Kiwanis, Santa Paula Elementary School District, Santa Paula Resources Youth Team, and Ventura County Probation Department will present the Santa Paula Youth Peace Summit at Isbell Middle School, 221 So. 4th St. on Friday and Saturday, May 26th and 27th. The two-day event will include leadership training for high school students and mentoring for middle school students. More than 100 students ages 11 to 14 will participate in the event.The positive program is designed to prevent violence, and focus on future visions for them and the community.Students will attend four workshops geared to help them build good relationship with their peers, and adults.
