Viewing will take place at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary Thursday July 9, 2015 from 4:00-9:00pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm, Funeral mass will take place on Friday July 10, 2015 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 427 N. Oak Street, Santa Paula, with a burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. Services entrusted to Skillin-Carroll Mortuary 738 E. Santa Paula Street, Santa Paula, CA.

Sarah Amaya Gonzales
Our beloved mother Sarah Gonzales 86, departed this life on Thursday, June 25th, 2015. Born April 28th, 1929 in Douglas, Arizona. Attending “The school for the Deaf & Blind” in Tucson, Arizona & then attending “California School of the Blind” in Berkeley, Ca. She enjoyed listening to the radio, all sports and loved talk radio and politics.
Survived by Sister Ernestina Gaitan from Hesperia, Ca. Daughters: Irma Rivera of Simi Valley, Ca. Sylvia Villanueva of Simi Valley, Ca. Lisa Gonzales of Santa Paula, Ca. & Brenda Arana (Max) of Santa Paula, Ca. 12 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased in death by her son Alex and daughter Martha, sisters Micaela, Eleanor, Margaret and brothers Adolph and Ralph.
She was a devoted mother her entire life. Our mother was very caring & loving to all. Her love and presence will be deeply missed.
