School board honors employees of the month

The Santa Paula Unified School District board has recognized the certificated and classified employees of the month, both from McKevett Elementary School. The certificated employee honored is (above) Carlie Murillo. Principal Lydia Olivas introduced the pair. She said Murillo taught pre-school for 15 years and has taught at McKevett for three years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. (Below) Ann Gibson was recognized as the classified employee of the month. She has been employed by the district since October of 1978. Olivas said, “She’s always willing to do what’s best for the kids, she’s always willing to step up and to help and she’s always willing to be a team player.”
