Growers, policy makers, community leaders, educators, journalists, and all who are interested in the future of agriculture in Ventura County are encouraged to attend the Fourth Annual Ventura County Research Symposium sponsored by UC Hansen Fund in collaboration with UC Cooperative Extension-Ventura on Wednesday, November 7 at the Courtyard by Marriott-Oxnard, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Featured speakers from UC Riverside and UC Cooperative Extension will highlight current research on mitigating alternate bearing in Clementines and Mandarins, pest control and restoration efforts in Ventura County, California native plants as biofilters, and anaerobic soil disinfestation.
