Chamber of Commerce Seminar: Trademark Protection for Small Businesses

March 23, 2011
Santa Paula News

Why does a small business, primarily serving the local community have to worry about national trademark rights?

Because other companies with the same name might have a store or office three states away, but their websites are right next door to yours.  A business with the same name will pop up in Internet search results, which could confuse your customers, or cause them to associate your business with customer complaints and negative reviews directed at the other company.

Learn the risks and advantages of  protecting your brand in our increasingly connected world by joining us on Tuesday, March 29th , 8:00am at the Chamber Office at the Historic TrainDepot located at 200 N. 10th Street in Santa Paula.  Our speaker will be Glenn Dickinson of Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton.

The Seminar if FREE for Chamber Members and the cost is $10.00 per person for Non-Members.  Please call 525-5561 to RSVP.  Refreshments will be served.
