Fair Poster winners help open the Ventura County Fair

Left to Right: 3rd Place winner Amanda Vassaur, Fillmore, 15 years old, 1st Place winner Kayalin Akens-Irby, Ventura, 14 years old, Second Place winner Mattie Myers, Ventura, 14 years old. The three were in attendance at the opening of the Ventura County Fair Wednesday. The First Place award went to Kayalin for her rendition of horses bounding down a Ventura County hillside and onto the Carousel as Fireworks explode in the air above. The Ventura County Fair runs now through August 15 in Ventura.
