A Santa Paula teenager was among five people who sustained minor to moderate injuries in a three-vehicle crash last week in Ventura near the County Government Center.

The accident occurred Monday, July 26 when Angles Guzman, 18, of Santa Paula, was headed south on Victoria Avenue at about 3:40 p.m.

According to Ventura Police, Guzman apparently failed to stop at a red light and her vehicle struck a westbound vehicle on Thille Street driven by Erik Lande, 35, of Oxnard. The impact sent Lande’s vehicle careening into an eastbound lane of Thille Street, where it hit a vehicle driven by Tina Crouch, 38, of Ventura, according to Ventura Police.

Guzman and an unidentified female juvenile passenger were treated at Ventura County Medical Center for minor to moderate injuries. Lande, Crouch, and an unidentified female juvenile passenger in her vehicle were treated at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard for minor injuries.

Traffic on Victoria was delayed for about 45 minutes while the road was cleared and the collision investigated.
