Accident causes injuries

One person was transported after a two-car collision at South 10th Street and East Harvard Boulevard last Wednesday mid-morning. According to Santa Paula Police Sergeant Ryan Smith, one unidentified person was transported to Santa Paula Hospital for a suspected concussion and complaints of neck and back pain.

“The preliminary investigation shows that one driver ran a red light,” and traffic at the intersection was affected for about 20 minutes. Santa Paula Fire EMTs and AMR Paramedics also responded to the accident. Both damaged vehicles were towed from the scene. Smith said the incident is still being investigated.
