Karen Allen Leon
Karen Leon passed away March 2, 2010 with her loving family at her side. Karen was born in Santa Paula on February 4, 1945 and lived most of her life in Fillmore.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Leon of Fillmore, and daughters Tina of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Terri Leon of Fillmore, and Kristina Leon of Chowchilla, CA. She also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a brother Bill (Sally) of Deming, NM, and sisters Barbara of Ventura, Peggy (Tom) of Clovis, CA, and Marilyn of Florence, OR.
Karen loved tending her garden and cooking for her family and friends. She’ll always be remembered, especially for her wonderful homemade tamales at Christmas. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends whose lives she brightened.
