Blanchard Library centennial display opens at Oil Museum

Sunday, March 7 marked the opening of a Blanchard Community Library display at the California Oil Museum. This display, prepared by Santa Paula High School students under the direction of their teacher, Mr. Ed Arguelles, will be available for viewing throughout May 15.

The Library is celebrating its 100th birthday, with events planned throughout the coming year. On March 9 at 6:30 p.m. there was a show for children of all ages by Shawn McMaster entitled “An Evening of Comedy and Magic.” And from March 13 through March 31, the Santa Paula Society of the Arts is mounting its annual Art and Photography Show at the library, with viewing during regular library hours.
