Curtis Stanley Colvard
Curtis Stanley Colvard, 82 of Santa Paula, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Twin Pines Health Care. He was born on January 3, 1928 in Lavaca, Arkansas. He has been a resident of Ventura County for 64 years; formerly he resided in Arkansas.
Curtis worked as an agricultural supervisor for 27 years. He was a talented musician, had a strong love of music, and enjoyed motorcycle riding.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Jean Colvard; daughters Margaret Brown and Patricia Marie Moon; and sons, Curtis Colvard Jr., Allen Colvard, Norris Colvard, Kevin Colvard and Forest Colvard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery, with Pastor Chris Hall officiating.
