The 32nd annual Piru Christmas Parade will be held at noon on Saturday, December 12.
The 32nd annual Piru Christmas Parade will be held at noon on Saturday, December 12. The theme this year is “Merry Christmas to Our Soldiers.” The parade will start off with Grand Marshal Donna Chessani (Mrs. Cheese) and Piru veterans.
Immediately following will be our post parade celebration at Piru Depot, with live music from Dan Torres and the Piru River Band, D.J. Chuck Castro, and Mariachi “Jalisco.” There will be bingo, a bike rodeo for kids (bring bike to enter contest), a mechanical bull contest, and a horseshoe tournament with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The celebration will also have a Jolly Jumper for the kids, and lots of food – Elva’s Market, Poncho’s Restaurant, Adrian’s tamales, nachos, R&R beef, and pastries. There will be arts and crafts, and Relay for Life blankets.
