The Santa Paula Firefighters Association held their third annual Poker Night fundraising event on Saturday, March 7 at Logsdon’s Restaurant at the Santa Paula Airport.

The Santa Paula Firefighters Association held their third annual Poker Night fundraising event on Saturday, March 7 at Logsdon’s Restaurant at the Santa Paula Airport. The event saw 53 poker players of varying degrees of proficiency and gamesmanship all vying for prizes that included a trip to Las Vegas with some spending cash, and an overnight stay for two at the Chumash Hotel and Casino that includes dinner and a trip to the spa. There was also a packed house of spectators cheering on their favorite players, all with a chance to win several different raffle prizes.The Santa Paula Firefighters Association would like to thank the participants, sponsors and supporters who helped make the event a great success. Money raised from the event goes back to the community to help support youth groups around Santa Paula. The Association looks forward to holding another event this summer.
