Turning Point Foundation seeks vehicle donation

The River Haven Tent Community was created in 2004 to help the homeless of Ventura get off the streets and into housing.

The River Haven Tent Community was created in 2004 to help the homeless of Ventura get off the streets and into housing. River Haven is a project of Turning Point Foundation and is a self-governed drug and alcohol free community. The residents have started a recycling program working with the restaurants at the Ventura Harbor, enabling them to earn money for personal expenses.We are currently seeking the donation of a truck or van that is in good running condition and is able to tow a trailer. A reliable vehicle will enable us to continue and eventually expand the program. If you have a truck or van to donate, please call Turning Point Foundation at 805-652-0596, ext. *831 and ask for Jane Lax. Only by working together will se be able to end homelessness in Ventura County.
