A free Open House & Sale will highlight the work of three photographers on Sunday, August 5, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at the Museum of Ventura County’s satellite location in The Oaks Shopping Center, Thousand Oaks.

A free Open House & Sale will highlight the work of three photographers on Sunday, August 5, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at the Museum of Ventura County’s satellite location in The Oaks Shopping Center, Thousand Oaks.Roger Conrad of Ojai, Sharon Hardee of Newbury Park, and John C. Lewis of Newbury Park will be on hand to talk about and sell their photographs. They are also among the artists included in the Museum of Ventura County’s current satellite exhibition Nature Observed: Painting, Sculpture, Photography & Prints, running through Labor Day. Admission to both the sale and the exhibit are free.Conrad, a former chairman and faculty member of the photography department at California Institute of the Arts, creates conceptual photomontages. Hardee, who attended Brooks Institute of Photography and Moorpark College, is a nature photographer, writer and environmental educator. Lewis, whose work is in the J. Paul Getty Museum’s photographic collection, is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography.
The Museum of Ventura County satellite location at The Oaks Shopping Center in Thousand Oaks is open free Monday through Saturday, 12:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The satellite is located on the upper level, northeast end, across from Anthropologie.
