Marion E. “Pete” Petri Marion E. “Pete” Petri, 78, of Las Vegas, died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born October 13, 1925 in Woodford County, Illinois. A resident of Las Vegas for 13 years, he was a retired master electrician, World War II Navy veteran and avid golfer.He is survived by his wife, Peggy; three daughters, Charlene Marie Roy of Cleveland, and Kathryne Jean Finch and Geraldine L. Petri, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Eugene I. Petri, Norbert E. Petri and Joseph A. Petri, all of Minonk, IL, and Virgil M. Petri of Arkansas; one sister, Mary Catherine Ford of Minonk; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.A memorial service was held at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas.
