Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula. Graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 2 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. Her son-in-law, Mal King will officiate. Margie Aldora West
Margie Aldora West, 96, of Santa Paula, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2003. Margie was born August 9, 1906 in Umpire, Arkansas. She was a Ventura County resident for 65 years.Margie, the youngest of the Burgess children, had three brothers who, like her, lived to be almost 100 years old. Margie worked for Limoneira Company until her retirement. She attended the Adobe Baptist Church on the Limoneira Ranch until moving to Santa Paula in 1968. Since that move, she has worshipped at Santa Paula Free Will Baptist Church. She and her love for God - family, flowers and music - will be missed.Margie is survived by one daughter, Regina West King, granddaughters Sherrie Foley, Debbie Morgan and Tammy Ferguson, all of Santa Paula; great granddaughters Cindy Borrego, Regina Marie Morgan and MacKenzie Ferguson, all of Santa Paula, and Melissa Patterson of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; great grandsons Chris Foley, Michael Ferguson, Louie Morgan and Keegan Ferguson; great great grandsons Dylan Patterson and Connor Patterson of Pearl Harbor; and one great great granddaughter, Citlaaaaaaaali Borrego of Santa Paula.
