Aviation MuseumThe Aviation Museum of Santa Paula will hold our monthly First Tuesday Program on Tuesday, August 6th, at OUR NEW TIME - 6:30 P.M. in the Coffee Shop at Logsdon’s Restaurant at the Santa Paula Airport, 824 East Santa Maria Street, Santa Paula. Everyone is invited to attend! This month our speaker will be Jerry Deanda, Stereo Lithographer (Three-Dimensional Model Maker) with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. He will be talking about his work with Lockheed and also about his business with Steve Pfister, “Vintage Arrow”, where they restored, repaired and modified aerobatic and antique aircraft. Please join us! There is no charge and it is not necessary to be a museum member or a pilot to come to the program.

First Sunday of the month at the airport August 4th
Sunday, August 4 is the First Sunday of the Month at the Airport. The Santa Paula Airport and Aviation Museum of Santa Paula will have a traditional display of antique, classic, and experimental aircraft plus many other unique and unusual vehicles. Museum Hangar #1 and our unique Chain of Hangars will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Museum Shuttle tram will be available for those who would rather ride than walk to the Chain of Hangars. Please check at the Gift Tent next to Logsdon’s Restaurant for the schedule. At our Gift Tent we have aviation toys, caps, shirts, and lots of other goodies. ADDED BONUS - Chrysler Performance West Car Club will display their Mopar, Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler Hot Rod and Stock vehicles. No admission. Cancel if rain. EAA members are trying to give one million young people between the ages of 8 and 17 an airplane ride as an introduction to a career in aviation. The program is worldwide and has passed the half million mark to date. The goal is to reach one million youth by 2003, the 100th anniversary of aviation. Pilots donate their time and efforts for this program and it is available at the Santa Paula Airport during the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula’s First Sunday at the Airport event each month.
