Santa Paula, California - Maria Garcia has been named manager of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust’s office in Santa Paula. The appointment became effective on the eve of Garcia’s 27th anniversary in Santa Paula banking.
Santa Paula, California - Maria Garcia has been named manager of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust’s office in Santa Paula. The appointment became effective on the eve of Garcia’s 27th anniversary in Santa Paula banking. “I began with Citizens State Bank on June 18, 1975 as a bookkeeper,” she said. “I’ve had a variety of jobs - teller, note department supervisor, loan officer, Assistant Vice President. After SBBT and Citizens merged in 1997, I became a client relationship officer.”Garcia, who grew up in Santa Paula and attended local schools, lives here with her husband, Roger, and their son, Eric. She is delighted to be managing SBBT’s office.“I’m pleased and honored with my promotion,” she said. “I look forward to maintaining the high quality of customer service and community involvement our bank is known for, and to continuing to serve the people of Santa Paula. This is a really wonderful town. It’s a close-knit community, where everyone knows everyone else and people like helping each other.
