The Lady Cardinal varsity softball team overpowered Rio Mesa Wednesday for an 8-0 win in the Pacific View Tournament.
Miranda Magana pitched a complete game with AJ Payne doing the catching. Magana threw a one-hitter.
Top Santa Paula hitters: Alyia Alamillo went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles and 2 RBI’s. Miranda Magana went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 3 RBI’s. Felicia Magana went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 2 runs scored.
The Lady Cardinal bats were hot and the defense ha only one error. There overall record is 7-0.
